Fees and Financing
The Data Visualization Analytics Certificate program is a cohort-based program. This means that participants begin and complete this program as a group and must take all six (6) courses in the order that they are offered. Tuition is payed per term and two (2) courses are offered each term, which means students will be enrolling in and paying for two courses at a time.

Payment Options
Installment Payment Plan
Installment Payment Plans are available to participants who do not wish to pay for each term upfront. The terms for Installment Payment Plans are listed below.
- Plans are written for two courses at a time and are split into four installments
- The first installment is half the cost of tuition for the term, plus a $33 administrative fee; the remaining tuition is split into three equal payments
- The first payment must be received in order to be enrolled into courses for the term and is due no later than the first day of class
- There is a $25 fee for late payments
- Students will not be given a new payment plan or be registered for the next term if there are any outstanding payments from a previous payment plan
Email the Program Specialist to request a payment plan, and one will be sent to you via Adobe Sign for signature. A payment plan must be established at least seven (7) days prior to the first day of classes for the term.

Financing
Students may wish to seek outside funding to cover the cost of tuition. Unfortunately, this program is not eligible for Federal Financial Aid. Visit our Financing Your Education page for information about alternative loans and other funding options that are available, such as:

- Veteran education and training benefits
- California Transition Assistance Program (CalTAP)
- Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
- Local lending institutions
Referral Discount
Recruit a friend or colleague and attend together! Take advantage of our referral program to receive 10% off one course. To participate, email the program staff with the name and email address of the individual you are referring. Staff will respond to the email with next steps. To qualify for the discount, both students must enroll in the first two courses of the program. The discount will be applied to the second course.
Refunds
Students who wish to drop a course or withdraw from the program must submit a Drop Request to the program staff via email. The guidelines for dropping a course and receiving a refund are as follows:
- Drop Requests submitted prior to the course start date will receive a full refund for the course, minus a $25 administrative fee
- Drop Requests submitted on or after the course start date, but before end of day on census will receive a 65% refund for the course, minus a $25 administrative
- Drop Requests submitted after census are not eligible for a refund and will incur a $25 administrative fee
In the event that courses are canceled due to insufficient enrollment or any other reason, students will receive a full refund.
