USCE Online Module / Exam

Please note your registration includes only one exam attempt in which you will have until the end of the current term to complete the components you register for. Once registration has been processed, please allow 2-3 business days for CSUSB's system to generate a Coyote ID which you'll need to log into Canvas and schedule a time with ProctorU to take the exam. The online Exam will be proctored during the test administration and you have a maximum of 90 minutes to complete the exam, no supplementary materials or notes allowed during the exam.

The Online Module is designed to help prepare you for the challenge examination and includes a brief presentation of the basic principles and provisions of the U.S. Constitution and its amendments. The Online Module highlights key elements of the Constitution, but is not a complete preparation for the exam. This option will include one attempt to the exam. • This option is $175 and you will have until the end of the registered term to complete both components. 
• Please allow 2-3 business days for CEGE Staff to receive your registration and process accordingly.
• Once registration and payment has been confirmed you will receive an email confirmation with next steps on how to access the Online Prep Module & Exam through Canvas.  

Register for the online challenge examination only and prepare for the exam completely on your own. This option is designed to allow students to conveniently take the U.S. Constitution Challenge Exam 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

• This option is $100, please allow 2-3 business days for CEGE Staff to receive your registration and process accordingly. 
• You'll receive an e-mail confirmation with the Canvas & ProctorU sign-on information which will outline the next steps in scheduling and taking the exam.
  • Flex Scheduling allows to make an appointment up to 72 hours before the desired start time. There's an additional fee if you want to take the test on-demand (no appointment needed). There are no fees for appointments scheduled after 72 hours.
• You'll need a webcam and must use Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to run the Canvas and ProctorU program. There's a higher risk of unexpected technical problems when running Internet Explorer with Canvas for a prolonged time.
