By definition this is a challenge examination to a full college-level course. As such, it is a very difficult examination and the assumption is that those challenging the exam have done serious preparation prior to taking it. Note that this is a testing experience and not an educational experience. Students who take this exam will not be given the correct answers to questions missed.
Testing hours can change due to holiday and alternate schedules. Students are advised to contact the College of Extended and Global Education directly at (909) 537-5976 to check current hours and schedule an appointment.
You have a maximum of 3 attempts at passing the U.S. Constitution exam. Your 3 attempts at passing the exam must be completed within one year from the date you first register. After the third attempt you will have to take the course to meet the requirement.

There are Optional Fees: Flex Scheduling allows an examinee to make an appointment at least 72 hours before the desired start time. However, an examinee may choose either the Take it Now or Take it Soon options to be paid at their own expense.
Take it Soon ($5.00) allows a test to be scheduled within 72 hours of the chosen start time.
Take it Now ($8.75) allows a test to be taken on-demand with no appointment needed.
These options are for the convenience of the examinee and the additional charges will not be billed to the institution. Any charges applicable to the examinee must be paid with a credit or debit card. The examinee will be required to enter payment information on a secure page connected to a third-party card processor. The page is encrypted and secure and ProctorU does not see or store any credit card data. Examinees will be required to re-enter payment information each time new charges are incurred.
Once the College of Extended and Global Education has processed your registration, please allow 2-3 business days for CSUSB's system to generate a Coyote ID which you will need to log into Canvas and schedule a time with ProctorU to take the exam. You will be sent an email confirmation once completed with the Canvas & ProctorU sign-on information. This email will outline in detail the next steps in scheduling and taking the exam.
No appointment is necessary to view the online module, student does need to schedule their exam date/time at their convenience with ProctorU.
