Respondus LockDown Browser with Monitor is an application that promotes student academic integrity while taking online assessments such as quizzes and exams. Instructors will inform students when an assessment given through Blackboard requires LockDown Browser with Monitor. When this is the case students must download and install the Student Version.
Please note:
- Installers are available for macOS and Windows only.
- Installation requires users have administrative access to their computer.
- If you have a computer loaned from CSUSB, you will need to bring it in so campus staff can install the Respondus software for you.
- Antivirus software must allow installation.
- Ensure the computer has a working webcam.
