INTERNSHIP TITLE: Human Resources Intern

LOCATION: CSUSB | Student Health Center

WORK SCHEDULE: To Be Determined

WAGE/SALARY: Unpaid; must enroll in an internship course (counts towards concentration electives)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The human resources intern will work on the following tasks: 

• Develop standardized job descriptions for CAPS counselors
• Create an onboarding process for CAPS and SHC (Student Health Center)
• Create an email template for virtual and in-person interviews

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must maintain a 3.0 semester and cumulative GPA

Be enrolled at least half-time

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to relevant privacy standards

PREFERRED SKILLS: 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Dependable, reliable, and respectful

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
