The Early Assurance Program (EAP) is a partnership initiative designed to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to receive an early conditional admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU). 

Students must have a minimum overall and science GPA of 2.75 or above for EAP eligibility. In addition, the following course prerequisites must be completed before applying to the EAP. 

  • One year of general chemistry (with lab) 
  • One semester or two-quarters of organic chemistry (with lab) 
  • One semester or two-quarter of biology 
  • One semester or two-quarters of calculus 

Application Deadline 

Students can apply to the EAP as early as the prerequisites listed above are complete. The EAP application deadline is January 15th of the year prior to the intended year of matriculation. 

Supplemental Application Requirements:

  • Unofficial college transcripts to verify completion of prerequisites 
  • Three references, including one from the linkage advisor 
  • Personal statement and supplemental essays
