Modern China Lecture Series continues with US-China Relations and Love in Chinese Literature

The Modern China Lecture Series events for fall will include the following. Events are hybrid, and will include a live in-person element in PL-4005 (Pfau) and also a Zoom element. Please click each event for more details and join us!

Monday October 7, 1pm PST, Chinese American Scientists and US-China Relations: A Historical Perspective from the Cold War to the China Initiative, with Dr. Zuoyue Wang (History, California Polytechnic University, Pomona)
Thursday October 17, 1pm PST, Book Talk, "Cosmopolitan Love: Utopian Vision in D. H. Lawrence and Eileen Chang," with Dr. Sijia Yao (Soka University)
