The National Best Chapter Award from Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, is its highest accolade for campus chapters. The latest honor also makes it the 12th time that CSUSB’s Theta Iota Chapter has earned the award.
Christina Villegas, an associate professor of political science, will be part of the 12-member National Executive Council of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Honor Society. She will serve a four-year term.
CSUSB, ranked at No. 14 by Security Degree Hub, offers a Master of Arts in national security studies through the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and is the only California State University to make the list.
