The university is a 2023 Equity Champion of Higher Education for Black Students, one of five California State Universities that are being honored “for working with intentionality to support Black students via the Associate Degree for Transfer” by the Campaign for College Opportunity.
CSUSB is recognized as a top performer specifically for its work in supporting and increasing Latinx and Black students through the Associate Degree for Transfer.
