CSUSB will celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month by highlighting student leaders, faculty and staff in various activities and special events throughout the month.
CSUSB celebrates LGBTQ+ History Month with events and workshops to raise awareness, while also celebrating LGBTQ+ history and individuals.
CSUSB is celebrating Womxn’s History Month with the theme “Meeting at the Intersections: What’s HERstory?” A list of events is at the CSUSB Womxn’s History Month website.
Kimberly-Anne Anacleto, chair of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer plus Faculty, Staff and Student Association (LGBTQ+FSSA), is elevating Coyote voices and reconnecting the association with the community through leadership.
“My role is to lead to create the vision and oversee operations to make sure they align with CSUSB’s mission, too, while also providing mentorship and continuing to advocate for our students’ safety on campus," says Lee Stovall (she/hers & they/them), Queer and Transgender Resource Center coordinator.
The university will highlight student leaders, faculty and staff in various activities and special events throughout the month, which is themed “Connecting at the Intersections.”
“Connecting at the Intersections” is the theme of this year’s celebrations for LGBTQ+ Hxstory Month. CSUSB has been holding a series of programs to celebrate the community and its contributions to society.
Poet, public speaker and activist Yosimar Reyes will present his work at the event, hosted by the Undocumented Student Success Center and the Queer and Transgender Resource Center, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Santos Manuel Student Union.
