
Sixteen nursing students from Chang Gung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan participated in CSUSB’s Nursing Immersion Program from July 8-Aug. 1. The program combined theoretical knowledge with practical experience and site observation, enhancing participants’ professional skills and providing a well-rounded learning experience.

CSUSB and NIMS University, India, have agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to foster academic excellence and support cross-cultural understanding.

Cross-cultural understanding and academic excellence is the foundation on which the academic exchange agreement between the two educational institutions is built.

The agreement, in the form of a memorandum of understanding, outlines cooperation in several areas, including study abroad programs for students, partnerships in academic programs, short-term academic and language programs, exchange of faculty members and joint research activities.

The international partnerships will be designed to enhance international understanding and deepen friendship between CSUSB and Lviv Polytechnic National University, and CSUSB and Krakow University of Economics.

The CSUSB community gathered on Dec. 16 to honor the memory of Abhishek Sudhesh, a graduate student from India, who was killed off campus on Thanksgiving Day. His family, in partnership with CSUSB, established a scholarship fund in Sudhesh’s name.

Susan Sutton, who is also a Fellow at the Institute of International Education (IIE) Center on International Partnerships, will meet with the university’s Internationalization Lab committee and others during her visit on Thursday, Dec. 5.

CSUSB is one of 18 colleges and universities participating in the American Council on Education’s (ACE) 17th Internationalization Laboratory cohort to develop strategies and goals for campus internationalization.

The nursing department at California State University, San Bernardino continues to bolster its programs through its faculty, staff and students, and also in working with international institutions.
