The popular Kids Discover Egypt Workshop (KDEW) will return this July to Cal State San Bernardino’s Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) for two fun and educational three-day sessions: the first from July 8-10 and the second from July 15-17. Activities will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. each day on the CSUSB campus.

Designed for children ages 6-14, the workshop offers an immersive journey into the wonders of ancient Egypt through interactive crafts and hands-on activities. Children will explore archaeology, create Canopic jars, participate in a mock dig, and engage in small group and individual projects that bring history to life.

To ensure a personalized experience, each session will be limited to 20 participants. The first session, July 8-10, is tailored for children ages 6-10. The second session, July 15-17, is designed for older participants, ages 11-14.

Registration is open from April 25 through May 23, with a program fee of $75. Financial assistance is available for families in need. Due to high demand and limited space, early registration is strongly encouraged.

Snacks will be provided throughout the day, and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
