Ahlam Muhtaseb, a professor of media studies at Cal State San Bernardino, was interviewed for an article on how media bias has influenced people’s perception of war and resistance, which has led to plummeting trust in the news media.

Stuart Sumida (biology) will be one of the featured speakers at the first international DVRS Games Festival at Manchester Metropolitan’s School of Digital Arts, April 10-11. In addition to his teaching and research, Sumida is a frequent anatomical consultant to the entertainment industry, working on more than 60 feature-length motion pictures and as a consultant to animators to video games. He is the current president of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology, the largest professional organization of paleontologists in the world.
