Cal State San Bernardino brought together educators, industry leaders and community stakeholders for the 2025 PROPEL AI Symposium, fostering discussions on AI’s impact on education, workforce development and economic mobility in the Inland Empire.

The event featured keynote speakers and panel discussions on AI-driven strategies for enhancing educational success, preparing the workforce, and creating inclusive learning environments.

Speakers included Ajey Jacob of the Information Sciences Institute, Sabba Qwidwai of Designing Schools, and Merrick Watchorn of Quantum Security Alliance.

A CEO roundtable, moderated by Ashish Vaidya of Growing Inland Achievement, featured regional leaders from education, healthcare and nonprofit sectors, including CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales.

Held on Feb. 21 at the Santos Manuel Student Union North, the symposium also served as a launchpad for future collaborations between CSUSB, regional businesses and educational institutions, with discussions on AI research projects, workforce training and student internship opportunities.
