Cal State San Bernardino’s Jack H. Brown College of Business & Public Administration (JHBC) has appointed Jerrold Coakley as chair and Bud Weisbart as vice chair of the college’s advisory board. Both bring extensive experience and leadership to their new roles, working closely with JHBC Dean Tomás Gómez-Arias to advance the college's mission and programs.

Coakley, senior vice president at Stater Bros. Markets, oversees human resources initiatives and has led major companies such as Kellogg’s, Daymon Worldwide, and Hostess Brands. Weisbart, co-owner and vice president of A&R Tarpaulin, has fostered a diverse and inclusive culture at the Fontana-based small business, which is now minority women-owned by Carmen Weisbart.

Together, Coakley and Weisbart aim to align JHBC’s academic goals with industry needs, enhancing student career development and professional opportunities.
