Cal State San Bernardino recently hosted its annual Instant Admit Days on Nov. 12-13, welcoming approximately 600-700 high school seniors from the San Bernardino City Unified School District. The event provided students with on-the-spot admission decisions and a firsthand look at university life.

Each day began with a welcome session featuring remarks from university President Tomás D. Morales and Provost Rafik Mohammed, who emphasized CSUSB’s mission of supporting student success. Students then participated in activities that included campus tours led by student ambassadors, application workshops with staff, and interactive financial aid sessions offering guidance on scholarships and resources.

Admissions counselors reviewed transcripts throughout the day, admitting qualified students on the spot and providing personalized advice to others. A student panel offered insights into campus life, clubs and support services, giving prospective students a glimpse into the CSUSB community.

The day concluded with lunch and a college fair, where students connected with academic departments, student organizations and affinity groups.
