The Institute for Child Development and Family Relations, in collaboration with campus partners, will host a Winter Family Fun Festival on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on campus in the Faculty Offices Building, room 177. This event is open to all CSUSB student-parents and their children.

Register for the festival on the event registration page.

The event aims to bring student-parents together to foster connections and provide greater awareness of the resources available to them on campus. Attendees can look forward to a variety of engaging games and activities designed for both student-parents and their children, as well as exciting giveaways and prizes.

The festival will also honor the achievements of fall 2024 graduates, offering a moment of recognition and celebration for their accomplishments.

Student-parents are encouraged to attend and connect with their peers, explore available campus resources, and create lasting memories with their families.

"From textbooks to bedtime stories, we can see the strength and dedication of our student parents,” said Keyanna Lambert, social work intern. “This Winter Family Festival is a special thanks to you – let’s celebrate together!"

The Institute for Child Development partnered with the following campus partners on this event: CCAMPIS, Infant Toddler Lab School, Children's Center, Osher Adult Re-Entry Center, Veterans Success Center, Project Rebound, Counseling and Psychological Services, Child Development Department and Parent Advisory Committee.
