CSUSB’s Career Center hosted its annual Fall Career and Internship Fair, welcoming over 400 participants to campus. The event provided CSUSB undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni, an opportunity to connect with over 70 employers from diverse industries, ranging from technology and healthcare to government and business.

With another great turnout, attendees engaged with recruiters, explored career pathways and learned about full-time, part-time and internship opportunities. Employers represented a variety of sectors, offering positions that spanned across various industries.

For senior Ashley Monroy, a business administration student with a concentration in marketing, the event was a chance to discover internships to gain hands-on experience, preparing her for life after graduation.

“I wanted to expand my opportunities to see what’s out there right now and not only limit myself to marketing internships but also supply change management or management,” said Monroy.

From local businesses to large national corporations, the fair highlighted CSUSB’s commitment to connecting students and alumni with a broad spectrum of career opportunities.

Participants took advantage of the event to network with potential employers, including recent alumni Kyle Sidileau, who graduated in the spring with a bachelor of arts in geography. Sidileau encourages students and alumni to attend future networking opportunities like this to build professional relationships.

“It seems like they have a lot of booths for any kind of major,” said Sidileau, referencing the various employers tabling at the event. “It’s not just tailored to one specific major. Whatever your major is, they probably have a booth for you.”

The annual Fall Career and Internship Fair, held on Oct. 23, is a key part of CSUSB's ongoing efforts to support students and alumni as they transition from academic life to the workforce. The event also strengthens the university’s ties with local, regional and national companies, reinforcing CSUSB’s reputation as a valuable source of diverse, highly skilled talent.

The Fall Career and Internship Fair is just one of many events hosted by the Career Center throughout the year that offer students and alumni from all majors a chance to connect with employers actively seeking new talent.
