Retired CSUSB professor comments on the release of global guidelines to combat antisemitism

Brian Levin, founding director of CSUSB’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, was interviewed for a segment about new global guidelines to counter antisemitism. Levin said that anti-Jewish hate incidents have increased domestically and internationally, and briefly discussed what the next White House administration should do to combat antisemitism.

Anahid Modrek (psychology) was the lead author for a study on “executive functioning (EF), (which) has been regarded as a general ability to monitor and regulate thoughts and attention.” The study focused on empirical research on EF in sub-Saharan Africa, which researchers said is limited. From the abstract: “We report the development of EF component structure with a large sample of Ghanaian children (n = 2,979) followed longitudinally from ages 3 through 12 across six waves.”
