CSUSB’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration (JHBC) has received an extension of accreditation by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. The recognition reaffirms JHBC’s commitment to academic excellence and underscores their dedication to providing high-quality business education.

AACSB International accreditation is widely regarded as the hallmark of excellence in business education worldwide. Achieving the accreditation is a rigorous process that requires a commitment to continuous improvement, faculty excellence and a curriculum that prepares students for success in the business field.

“This extension of AACSB accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff and students,” said Tomas Gomez-Arias, dean of JHBC. “It validates our ongoing efforts to maintain high standards of educational quality and relevance in the fields of business.”

The AACSB accreditation process evaluates business schools on a comprehensive set of standards, including strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students in the educational process, the achievement of learning goals in degree programs, and positive societal impact.

With the extension, JHBC joins an elite group of 1,026 institutions in over 65 countries and territories that have achieved AACSB accreditation. The milestone reflects the ongoing commitment to academic excellence, continuous improvement and preparing students to make meaningful contributions in their careers and communities. JHBC remains dedicated to upholding the principles of AACSB accreditation and continuing to innovate in business and education.
