Ellen Weisser ’68 is a dedicated advocate for CSUSB’s students and the university. She was honored for her contributions to Cal State San Bernardino with the Distinguished Alumni Award at the inaugural Alumni Hall of Fame Awards.

Over the years, Weisser has had the opportunity to work with CSUSB faculty and administrators through her work with the Philanthropic Foundation Board, where she is a founding member and served as board chair for 15 years.

Weisser understands how life-changing her contributions are in a student’s life. Together with her husband, Stan, Weisser continues to change countless lives through her philanthropy. Weisser believes all students are given the chance to succeed at Cal State San Bernardino, and she is proud that the university honors veterans, supports students with disabilities and provides opportunities for all students.

As a long time CSUSB supporter and philanthropist, Weisser will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters at Cal State San Bernardino’s spring Commencement. For more information about Weisser, visit the Inside CSUSB website.
