CSUSB Palm Desert Campus hospitality management students Arthur Juarez, Nora Duenas, David Garcia-Tlahuel, Baldomero Felix-Felix and Cristian Cabrera, along with hospitality management program director, Joseph Tormey, networked with foodservice industry leaders on May 21-24, at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago.

 

Students discovered exciting new products, tried innovative new equipment and attended expert-led educational sessions. These professional development experiences are beneficial for increasing students’ practical knowledge and job prospects upon graduation. The goal is to introduce, lead and mentor students on an intensive trade show and city tour to new, stimulating destinations that connect to theory, and enhance their personal and professional development.
