Biology student is proud to be a Coyote

Arjun Mann embraces his Coyote pride as he highlights the diversity within the biology department and throughout the campus. He says he excited to continue his education at CSUSB because it offers a welcoming environment, and defines the future through programs, events, centers and clubs.

CSUSB is a university community that values diversity and inclusion, and biology student Arjun Mann says he is happy he chose to be a Coyote because it feels like home.

Mann, who stays active on campus through various organizations such as the Asian Pacific Islander Center, says CSUSB is a place a student of any background can find a home.

Mann embraces his Coyote pride as he highlights the diversity and welcoming environment within the biology department and throughout the campus. He is excited to continue his education at CSUSB because of its embrace of diversity, and because it defines the future through programs, events, centers and clubs.

He says CSUSB has proven to be inclusive and accepting through the programs it offers, creating a collaborative and supportive environment.

CSUSB is celebrating Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Heritage Month throughout April with a number of in-person and virtual events honoring the accomplishments, contributions and culture of the Asian, Pacific Islander and South Asian communities under the theme of “History, Diversity, Experience.”
