The latest edition of Transmotion: An Online Journal of Indigenous Studies, a Cal State San Bernardino-sponsored journal, is now available at TRANSMOTION.
Volume 6, No. 1, is a special issue to commemorate and recognize the work Ralph Salisbury, a writer of Irish-Cherokee heritage. David Carlson, CSUSB Department of English professor and chair, serves as the journal’s founding co-editor.
First launched in 2015, and produced in collaboration with the University of Kent, European University, Cyprus, and Portland State University, Transmotion is published under a Creative Commons license. As an open-access (and fully peer-reviewed) journal that is published biannually, all of its content is fully available on the open internet with no paywall or institutional access required.
Transmotion publishes work that contributes to recent developing conversations in contemporary Native American art and literature and offers innovative, surprising, unexpected and creative critique of American Indian literatures or other creative arts.
