As summer comes to a close, about 1,300 Cal State San Bernardino students will move into the three campus housing villages on Sunday, Sept. 17, in preparation for the start of fall classes on Thursday, Sept. 21.

“Move-In Day,” which starts at 9 a.m., officially kicks off Welcome Week 2017 for students who will make the university’s residence halls and apartments their home this year.

Returning students and new freshmen will move into the university’s Serrano and Arrowhead Villages on campus, as well as into University Village, an apartment-style complex across the street on Northpark Boulevard.

The week will feature a host of activities to help students settle into campus life.

Activities begin at the Serrano Village Quad on Sunday:

  • Ice Ice Yotie Ice-Cream meet-and-greet, 6-7 p.m.
  • Howl @ Me at the University Village Center/Pool, 7-8 p.m.
  • Espresso Yo Self, Village Square, 8-10 p.m.

In addition, there will be various Week of Welcome activities scheduled throughout the week. Floor meetings will be held on Sept. 18-19 from 4-5 p.m.
