In partnership with the University of California, Riverside, Cal State San Bernardino will welcome a group of women in academia to the International Women in Higher Education Leadership Summit for a panel presentation, roundtable discussion and campus tour on Wednesday, June 6, at the CSUSB Yasuda Center.

Attendees include 19 women from 12 different countries, nine domestic participants from the University of California system and other higher education institutions, as well as several CSUSB members.

The international attendees include:

The panel discussion will include Shari McMahan, provost and vice president of Academic Affairs; Diane Podolske, director of the Office of Community Engagement; Terry Ballman, dean of the College of Arts and Letters; and Cherstin Lyon, history professor, faculty associate of the Faculty Center for Excellence and the recent winner of CSUSB’s Outstanding Professor Award and Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award.

The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Tatiana Karmanova, dean of the College of Extended Learning, and will include Clare Weber, deputy provost of Academic Programs; Alysson Satterlund, associate vice president of Student Affairs and dean of students; Olivia Rosas, associate vice president of Enrollment Management; Jill Vassilakos-Long, coordinator of Special Collections/Archives; and Dorota Huizinga, associate provost for research, and dean of Graduate Studies.
