Simplifying goal-setting and time management for small business owners and entrepreneurs will be the focus of a free workshop today, Monday, Oct. 5, by the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, a program of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino.
“Time Management” will be held from 6-8 p.m. at Rancho Cucamonga Family Resource Center, 9791 Arrow Rte., in Rancho Cucamonga. To register, visit the IEWBC website.
“Managing time effectively is really about identifying and managing priorities,” says instructor Donna Buckner of Organizing Solutions. “We need to take time to look at the professional and personal goals that are truly important to us, and then schedule time to work on things that help us achieve those goals.”
The workshop will give participants the tools they need to find balance, and set and achieve goals in a more effective and productive manner. Participants will learn how to create and manage a master to-do list and calendar, which will help them better understand how to make smart choices about how and where to use their time for maximum results.
