More than 70 employers are seeking to hire Cal State San Bernardino students and alumni at the Career Center “Career Extravaganza” job fair on Monday, April 11.

The job fair will be held on the John M. Pfau Library south lawn from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors to the Santos Manuel Student Union events center room 106. The free event is open to the public; daily parking on campus is $6 per vehicle.

“Students should come prepared,” said Edgar Perez, employer relations coordinator of the career center. “All employers will be actively hiring on the spot. Bring your resume and your game face!”

The last and largest job fair of the academic year is an opportunity for CSUSB students seeking part-time or full-time positions. Internship positions will also be available. Three Apple iPods will also be up for raffle.

The fair will be divided into four different sectors: private and corporate employers, an education sector for prospective teachers, federal state and government employers, and non-profit organizations.

Employers participating in the job fair include: Balboa Capital Corporation, California Psychcare, Easter Seals Southern California-Autism Services, Inglewood Police Department, Patton State Hospital and many more.

The mission of the Career Center is to support the career readiness of all students and alumni by providing advising, assessment, workshops, career events, employer networking opportunities, internships and job opportunities that result in the establishment or advancement of personalized career goals.
