Cody Coyote traveled to Sacramento on Wednesday, June 1, with Cal State San Bernardino students, faculty and officials to seek support for additional funding for the California State University system in the 2016-2017 state budget, part of CSU Advocacy Day.

Joining Cody were mascots from other California State University campuses.

In addition, CSUSB students, faculty and staff sported bright, red crimson shades to show solidarity for CSU Advocacy Day.

CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales led a group of university officials to meet with state legislators in Sacramento to gain their support for additional funding for the CSU in the upcoming state budget discussions.
