Cal State San Bernardino President Tomás D. Morales welcomed Carlos Garcia de Alba, the Mexican Consul General in Los Angeles, and other officials on July 25.
Garcia had come to CSUSB to meet with Morales and Tatianna Karmanova, dean of the College of Extended Learning, to discuss higher education and scholarship programs including Proyecta 100,000 – the Mexican government’s study abroad and exchange program to promote higher education, research and innovation, which CSUSB joined in 2014.
Also discussed were scholarships for Dreamers and scholarships for Mexican nationals to study at CSUSB on the graduate level.
