Cal State San Bernardino alumna Robyn Echeverri, a math instructor at El Roble Intermediate School in Claremont, has been named the 2019 Claremont Unified School District Teacher of the Year.Now in her 25th year teaching math, the last 18 as chair of the math department at El Roble Intermediate, Echeverri earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from CSUSB in 1992. She grew up in La Verne, and graduated from Bonita High School. She received her teaching credential from the University of La Verne in 1994.
