Memorial services for Karen Elaine Smith, a teacher and Cal State San Bernardino alumna who died in the April 10 tragedy at North Park Elementary School, have been announced.
A prayer vigil is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, April 21, at Grace Chapel, 1595 E. Art Townsend Drive, San Bernardino, where she worshipped. The vigil is open to the public.
The Homegoing Service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Shield of Faith Christian Center of Pomona, 1750 W. Holt Ave., Pomona, with interment following at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Covina. For more information, contact Shield of Faith Church at (909) 629-6294.
