Cal State San Bernardino students, faculty, staff and alumni: Do you have a cutting edge idea that will help change our campus, our community, or quite possibly the world?
Participate in the first ever CSUSB Innovation Challenge! This is a competition that gives everyone at CSUSB the opportunity to team up and serve up new ideas to solve real problems.
Come to one of the Open Pitch nights — either on Tuesday, April 18, or Wednesday, April 19 — present your idea, and form a team comprised of anyone from the CSUSB community for the chance to compete for $15,000 in prize money at the main event on May 25.
How to participate:
The first step is to attend one of the two Open Pitch nights to learn more and start networking. You will have the chance to pitch your idea as well as meet others who are interested in getting on a team to compete.
- Register for Open Pitch Night #1, Tuesday, April 18, 4-6 p.m.; or
- Register for Open Pitch Night #2, Wednesday, April 19, 4-6 p.m.
- Start buildingyour team and your plan of attack!
- Complete and submityour “Intent to Compete” form to allis@csusb.edu by Friday, April 28.
If you don't have an idea but want to compete, we can find a team for you at one of the Open Pitch nights. There you can also complete and submit your 'Intent to Compete' form to be selected to participate in the main event. Selected teams will be announced and notified.
Teams will be notified once they have been selected to participate in the final round for the chance to compete for part of the $15,000 in total cash prize money at the final competition on May 25.
