Strawberry Peak Hike - SBC
Strawberry Peak is a challenging and rewarding hike located in the San Gabriel Mountains at 6164', Our 7.2-mile round-trip route has a 1,771-foot elevation gain. The hike is known for its tough terrain, making it a great choice for experienced hikers seeking a more strenuous adventure. Along the way, you’ll encounter spectacular scenery, with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The summit rewards your efforts with a stunning 360-degree view, perfect for taking in the vast beauty of the area.
One of the most striking features of the peak is its distinctive shape—it resembles an upside-down strawberry, making it an iconic landmark in the region. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as the climb can be demanding, and prepare for a memorable experience in the rugged terrain of the San Gabriels.
