Exposition Park in Los Angeles is an urban park with world-class museums. On this trip we explore the park and 2 of the parks museums as well and relax in the Rose Garden.
California Science Center is the largest hands-on science center the West Coast has to offer, the California Science Center. The breathtaking 400,000 sq. foot facility offers fun and informative permanent exhibits presented as hands-on interactive models, as well as, featured special exhibits that change all the time. Through hands-on experiences in the galleries, you’ll learn about human inventions and innovations, the life processes of living things and more.
The Natural History Museum (NHM) occupies a special place in Los Angeles: It's one of L.A.’s oldest cultural institutions. The museum features extraordinary specimens in exhibitions such as Age of Mammals, the Dinosaur Hall, the Gem and Mineral Hall, and our beloved dioramas. But in addition to sharing the history of the planet, they also explore the transformation around us right now: Becoming Los Angeles, the outdoor Nature Gardens, and the Nature Lab look at the relationship between environment and people, past and present, in L.A. In all of these experiences at the museum, whether they're inside or outside, we’re interested in the intersection of nature and culture—in L.A. and beyond.
