Itinerary

Day 1: We are going to meet at the SRWC at 8am and have a six hour drive to the park. We will set up camp and stargaze in the night before heading to bed.

Day2: The group will head to the Condor Gulch Trail to High Peaks Trail Loop, a challenging 5.6-mile hike with a 1,633-foot elevation gain that typically takes about four hours to complete. After the hike, the group returns to camp to refill supplies before visiting the visitor center. The day wraps up with some relaxing time at the pool, with the possibility of adding the Bacon Ranch hike for those interested.

Day 3: The day begins with participants waking up and packing their belongings before departing for the west side of Pinnacles National Park, an approximately 1-hour and 20-minute drive. Once there, they will embark on the Balconies Cave Trail, a scenic hike known for its unique rock formations and talus caves. After completing the hike, the group will begin the drive back to campus, which includes a stop for dinner along the way and arriving back at campus around 9PM.
