The John M. Pfau Library will hold a Chess Club Tournament on Saturday, October 19, 2019, in room PL-5005 (Library Multimedia Center). The competition will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with lunch from noon to 1:00 p.m.
Players of all skills levels—whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced—are welcome to participate in the contest. Each chess match will be time-controlled.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prizes, in the respective amounts of $100, $75, and $50, will be awarded in each of the following categories: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
