Connected Learning with Engaging Technologies

September 12, 2016
9:00am - 4:00pm

Organized by Academic Technologies and Innovation in partnership with the Teaching Resource Center.

Connected learning is a pedagogical approach that uses the innovations of the connected age to serve learning. The approach focuses on creating, producing and collaborating, often via new learning technologies. The purpose of this three-day ATI-led Institute, facilitated by the ATI instructional design team in collaboration with TRC, is to help participants redesign a class assignment or course approach in order to take advantage of the affordances of various engaging technologies. To that purpose, the Institute will expose faculty to a variety of learning technologies that serve connected learning purposes in either face-to-face or online/hybrid settings. The Institute is open to full-time faculty only (either tenure-track or lecturers).
