CSUSB Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)

Per the U.S. and Cal-OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, GHS training is mandatory for all employees (including student employees) who currently handle chemicals, or have the potential to do so, as part of their assigned job duties. Attendees will learn about the history of GHS implementation in the U.S., be able to identify and properly incorporate the pictograms used in GHS, and know how to search for information in a Safety Data Sheet.
