Fundamentals of Laboratory Safety Training

This training is highly recommended for all faculty, Instructional Support Technicians, and student research and teaching assistants who either (1) supervise, teach, or participate in an academic or research laboratory or (2) manage or work in a chemical stockroom. The training will cover Cal-OSHA regulations as they pertain to lab safety, proper Personal Protective Equipment to wear in the lab, accident mitigation procedures, proper labeling and handling of chemicals and hazardous waste, and emergency response procedures.Please e-mail the Lab Safety Administrator to be added to this learning program.
