Then it’s a 390 mile / 627 km drive, about 6 hours, to the magnificent Zion National Park. We will check in to our campsite and set up camp. We will then have time to stop by the visitor center and learn about the park.

Day 2: After breakfast we pack up our gear and lunch for the day, and take a shuttle to start our hike to Angels Landing. Once at the trail head we hike up the switchbacks to the top of the cliff where we then traverse on the rim of the cliff using chains mounted along the trail. We eat some lunch at the top and then it’s back down the trail

Day 3: It’s another early wake up at 8am to a good breakfast and a packing up camp. We will explore the park in the morning and enjoy our lunch before heading home. We shall get some dinner along the way so bring some money and should arrive back at CSUSB around 10pm.
