Consistently ranked as America’s Favorite City, San Francisco is a beautiful city with many adventures to offer. On this 3-night, 4-day trip we camp at Rob Hill the only campsite within the city. We will explore the best the city has to offer by bike, by foot and by boat. Highlights include: cable car ride, Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, biking 10 miles over the Golden Gate Bridge, ferrying across the bay, Alcatraz Island, hiking Muir Woods, Coit tower and more! Don’t miss out on this fun-filled weekend to one of the most iconic cities in America!

Trip Departs From
CSUSB Student Recreation and Wellness Center

Itinerary 
Day 1: We will be departing from CSUSB at 8:00pm and driving 8 hours up to our campsite. After setting up camp we will take a short hike to Baker Beach to watch the sunset before returning for some dinner and a campfire.

Day 2: We will explore San Francisco and the Famous Golden Gate Bridge on a 10 mile bike ride! We will also see the famous Coit Tower, ride a cable car, see Ghirardelli Square and China Town. We wil have dinner out on the town.

Day 3: We will explore fisherman's wharf, Pier 39 and tour the famous Alcatraz Island and prison today before heading back to camp for dinner.

Day 4: After a great breakfast we pack up camp and travel over to Muir National Monument and visit the redwoods! We return back to CSUSB by 10:00pm

Food
8 meals are included, starting with dinner on day 1 (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinner)
3 meals are not included (1 lunch, 2 dinners)

Hygiene and Comfort
We will be staying in reserved campsites. The campsites are within close proximity to drinking water, flush toilets, and there are NO showers.  You will have the option to share a tent with one or two people or sleep out under the cover of the stars.  Light weight tents, warm synthetic sleeping bags, foam pads and ground tarps will be provided to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The ground consists of soft and hard soil.
