With massive red sandstone cliffs that soar into a brilliant blue sky, you can expect unforgettable views while backpacking in the northwest section of Zion National Park. Our destination will be Kolob Arch, which is arguably one of the longest spanning freestanding arches in the world. We are looking to about 15 miles of distance for the weekend!

Food
5 meals are included, starting with breakfast on day 2 (1 breakfast, 2 lunches, and 1 dinner)
2 meals are not included (2 travel diners). Bring money. 

Hygiene and Comfort

We will be staying in reserved campsites both night. The campsite on night one will be within close proximity to modern restrooms, drinking water, and there are NO showers. Day 2 we will be carrying our all our food, shelter, clothing, water and equipment in a pack weighting up to 40lbs. There will not be toilets available and we will be following Leave No Trace standards for human waste disposal. We will treat water from a nearby creek. You will have the option to share a tent with one or two people or sleep out under the cover of the stars.  Light weight tents, warm synthetic sleeping bags, foam pads and ground tarps will be provided to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The ground consists of soft packed soil.
