Hand In Hand With Art and Technology into World Language Classes

Workshop with Dr. Ana Cecilia Lara

In this workshop, participants will be exposed to different ways to use art and technology to teach Spanish Language. Participants will leave with meaningful language activities to use in their future classrooms, regardless of the language level they will reach.

Ana Cecilia Lara earned her MA in Spanish with a specialization in Literature, and a Doctoral degree in Modern Languages in Spanish and Italian from Middlebury College. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in World Languages other than English, with a wide range of experience in teaching diverse students in different contexts. She is a director of Foreign Languages and Coordinator for Spanish Teacher Licensure, Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Pemborke.
