Kent Nelson: Fiction Reading

Fiction writer Kent Nelson will visit campus on May 23 and May 24. Nelson has published over 150 short stories and ten novels and collections of short stories. He is recipient of two NEA grants, a Pushcart, and the Nelson Algren among other awards. On Wednesday, May 23, Nelson will talk about revision and publishing. On Thursday, May 24, Nelson will read from his collection of short stories Spirit Bird, which won the Drew Pitt Award in 2015.
