The Introduction to Ph.D. programs will provide an overview of how to best prepare for Ph.D. programs. Specifically, we will cover what makes applicants competitive, researching programs, contacting potential mentors, and preparing application materials (i.e., writing your statement of purpose and asking for letters of recommendation).
