The Art of Dreaming is part of Dr. Liliana Conlisk Gallegos' series of live-research performances based on community-based liberation pedagogy. This method is a form of resistance to the homogeneous project of coloniality which continues to limit the growth of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all sectors of our society, including higher education.
Come create a painting using repurposed materials from the Department of Art, participate in the line-up of open mic performances, and enjoy a delicious free meal. Then, come join us on November 5th, where you will be able to own one of these pieces during the auction event. All proceeds will go to an emergency scholarship for undocumented students.
