We as CSUSB VOICE Peers have the mission to utilizing prevention education to reduce the number of students impacted by sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. Gun violence has impacted us as members of the San Bernardino community, as residents of underserved communities of color, as students, and for many of us, as victim/survivors of domestic violence. We know that 9 out of the 10 deadliest mass-shooting perpetrators have a history of threatening, committing, or verbalizing domestic violence. We are speaking out for ALL people who have experienced gun violence, including police brutality. We also recognize the United States has exported gun violence through imperialist foreign policy to destabilize other nations. We raise our voices for action against all these forms of gun violence.
