Campus History & Tour

More than thirty years ago, local civic leaders called for a public four-year college to serve the students and employers of the Coachella Valley. The group's efforts led to California State University, San Bernardino establishing a branch campus in Palm Desert. Come and hear the story from Dick Oliphant, who helped make it happen, and meet the students who study here today. You'll also meet our new campus dean, Dr. Jake Zhu. Following the presentation, a guided walking tour of the campus will be led by student ambassadors.
