The Wrentit is a fairly common, year-round resident on campus within the CSUSB Preserve, primarily in the dense scrub on the north side of Badger Hill. It is a common, year-round breeding resident in coastal sage scrub and chaparral habitats in southern California.
High Count: 10, Average Count: 2-4
The Wrentit can be identified grayish brown upperparts, buffy underparts, and white eye.
